______Alex's POV______ I was curled up on my bed. Wet hair and all. I was hugging my comforter close. Why they call it a comforter when it brings no comfort is beyond me. I felt so tired and yet, I couldn't sleep. I wanted sleep. To be able to escape everything. Even just for a little while. I wanted unconsciousness to take me. But it didn't. I've been lying here for an hour and despite my tiredness I was still conscious. I just stared at the sketch book on my desk. I haven't drawn anything an weeks. My guitar was left un-played, in the corner. I was a mess. I was so afraid of my thoughts. I tried with everything I had not to think. I thought that the effort would also help tire me out, but it didn't. I was still awake, craving a sleep that wasn't coming. I got up. Maybe too fast. Everything was spinning. Then I felt it. Vaguely, but it was there. Darkness washed over me, as I fell into the sleep I was so desperately craving. ______Nick's POV______ "Brenna?" I asked, shocked. What was she doing here?!? "Brenna?" Justin's POV: I gathered some wild strawberries and headed back to the cave. I couldn't wait to see her smiling face wishing me a good morning. I was so excited that I almost skipped the whole way back. When I got to the entrance, I sprinted inside to find. . . no one. My smile fell and my mind began to confuse itself. Where was she? She didn't just step outside, she wouldn't do that that by herself, and I would've seen her on the way in. My head was spinning, until I noticed the comforter and pillows were gone, along with the lantern. A light bulb flickered on above my head and I sat down on the cold hard floor. Once again, I had myself a runaway love. I grabbed my notebook and brainstormed my plans. Two. That's all I could come up with. ~Plan One: Chase after her and continue chasing after her, place after place. Maybe wear her down eventually and get her to come back to the palace. ~Plan Two: Go back to the palace, tell everyone that I searched all night and couldn't find her. See what happens after that and just go with the flow. I laughed at plan one and scribbled it out. If she doesn't want me now, why would she want me in a few days when I finally catch up to her? That's right she wouldn't. She hates me. Quickly I packed everything up and threw the backpack over my shoulder. I walked to the entrance of the cave, for some reason I didn't want to leave.
