This is a video of Kali, we miss her very much here is a dedication: Hi All, We just put Kali to sleep. She was 17 and in failing health (for the last few years). Laura and Talya and I were with her. She died at home, on the dryer, where she felt warm and safe. Matzoh gave her a lovely bath last night and shmooshed her with his head until she disappeared under him on Talya's bed. She purred and purred. Kali will be greatly missed. She was a loyal, incredibly smart cat who growled at intruders, got along with all who could be trusted, human and animal, had a big vocabulary and strong telepathic powers. Kali was also an excellent mouser. She was a feral stray kitten in San Francisco when we found her at the SPCA, small enough to fit in the palm of our hand and infested with fleas. Kali spent weeks under my desk, too scared of humans to come out and play. Eventually, she trusted us and began to sleep on our down comforter. Her favorite thing in the world was to be in the sunshine. She liked corn on the cob and pumpkin pie, for treats, but tuna fish was her absolute favorite. We are all sad and hope her spirit is free and enjoying being healthy and strong again. Her body was tired.
