Paul said in PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8 KJV 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Jesus in the form of God humbled Himself to the purpose of leaving heaven, and becoming a servant to man in the flesh. This is the mind that we must take on as Christians. We must follow His example. Humility is the beginning of wisdom. We must humble ourselves before our Lord, and surrender all of our life to Him who sacrificed all for us that we may be the receivers of His immeasurable grace, and love. We must cast off all self reliance, and self will, and release our will to Him whose wisdom is above ours, and whose love is eternal through Jesus our Lord, and our friend for it says in: JOHN 15:13-15 KJV (The words of Jesus) 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
